Belinda was the slightest bit disappointed when the other woman pulled her robe on. She was more than accustomed to seeing others in their natural form, as well as walking around her own home in the nude, so viewing a naked body did not instantly register as something sexual. However, the redhead before her was so spectacular that it was impossible not to be instantly attracted to her. The garden that surrounded them was truly the main focus of all of Belinda’s attention. It was like a garden out of wildest dreams. She had always wanted a space that looked like a slice out of the Garden of Eden. Though she had brought many plants back from the brink of death and sustained other, healthy, plants that she had “liberated”, Belinda had never crafted and carefully sculpted such a special place. At the moment, she could think of nothing more she’d rather do than set up camp and stay here for the foreseeable future. She was shaken out of her fantasy -- or drawn in more, depending on how you looked at it -- when the woman moved toward her and spoke. Belinda practically giggled when she addressed the fact that she was an elemental, the question never occurring to as to how she knew what she was. All that mattered to her was that the redhead had acknowledge (what she considered to be) her greatest aspect. “Belinda,” she responded with a chuckle in her voice at Lida’s remark. When her hand made contact with the other woman, she was instantly struck by the chill in the other woman’s skin. Her first instinct was to explain it through reason: the night was not warm and she had been naked for who knew how long. Though she rationed out the thought, her eyes still dropped to Lida’s hand. It was so delicate and smooth; her nails were well cared for and manicured. They looked starkly different compared to what Belinda consider to be short and stubby fingers; her own nails were short and ragged from her absent-minded habit of biting them.
“I live in a neighborhood a little ways that way,” she said awkwardly, breaking the silence that had risen after the handshake. Belinda removed her hand and pointed in a direction, any direction, that signaled that she wasn’t apart of the affluent community. It was rare that the elemental found herself in a situation where she was speechless. Usually, she commanded any and all conversations that she had with other people. But here, now? Belinda was dumbfounded. “Who are you?” The question was asked in a dreamy sort of way, as though she had met Mother Nature herself. Actually, Belinda wasn’t entirely convinced that she hadn’t. “I’ve never seen anyone keep a place like this, or like you in general.” Her had reached out to a flower nearby. She didn’t grasp it, but let her fingers circle the air around it. The blossom was an immaculate display, one that could have only occurred with the encouragement of a child of Earth. Belinda didn’t know anything about Lida at the moment, but she was filled with the desire to know everything there was to know.
