"Perhaps," Demi said, still pouting at her glass a bit. "I could've probably gotten at least one nerd to deal in order to get a shot at Homecoming Queen, though." Rarely did she have a night where she came up completely dry, after all. Even if humans weren't the sort to think the world was ending at every little hint of misfortune, she was both persistent and persuasive. When she was really trying, there were few from any species who could say no to her.

She glanced up at him when he mentioned distraction, his sharp-toothed grin raising a similar expression from her. Her teeth were blunt and passed as human, of course, but it didn't make her smile any less frightening when paired with the predatory malice that lurked behind her dark eyes. She draped one arm languidly over the back of her chair as she turned to face him more fully, one eyebrow arching in inquiry. "What ever could you have in mind?" she asked, amused and anticipatory.
