Cat liked the full moon, it always made her feel so alive. She was born so she didn't need to change into her hybrid form if she didn't want to and usually she remained in her wolf form, she preferred it over her hybrid form as it was more natural for her. She spent more time as a wolf anyway and sometimes she thought that was her true form, not the human form that she wore now. She knew what she was doing as a wolf, she understood the rules even if she had refused to bend to them in the past but human rules sometimes escaped her, they just seemed so confusing at times. The whole spectrum of human interactions was confusing to her, she never really knew where she stood and it was only because most humans didn't really pay attention to others around them that she had managed to get by so far without someone thinking her crazy.
As the day had worn on Cat had felt the pull of the moon even more, as if the moon was actually calling out to the wolf inside and she wanted nothing more than to answer that call, to change right there and just howl in response to that magnetic pull but she knew that would make people panic. She wasn't about to change in the middle of the street and freak everyone out, she knew that was a big no in society. Her senses were on high alert as she walked along the street, her meeting and subsequent walk with Lark had taken her away from the woods and she was heading back there now when a familiar scent found her. She didn't even have a chance to look up before she heard Roxy call her name, her eyes quickly found the other woman and she smiled as she continued walking and closed the gap between them. "Hi, Roxy," she replied. She liked this woman, she'd helped her get food when she didn't have to and that meant that in Cat's eyes she was someone she could possibly trust. "It's going okay," she said with an almost imperceptible tilt of her head. A few seconds past before she realised she should probably return the question, it was only polite to ask someone how they were after they'd asked you. "How are you?" she asked with a smile. She got the feeling that Roxy would have more questions for her and as long as they weren't about her past Cat would be fine with that, even if she did find the way people needed to know things about each other a little odd sometimes.
