Oh yes, Gavin had heard every beat of Brodie's heart, picked up all sorts of scents from the other man. He was still so new at this that it wasn't like he knew what every fluctuation meant, nor would he presume that it had anything to do with him. Well, he supposed that Brodie had every right to be nervous around a bitten were. Two bitten weres, now that Langston was here. And Brodie's powers were still causing him hell, too, so Gavin understood, and he wasn't going to mention it.
Besides, it wasn't like Gavin didn't have a million things to be nervous about himself.
"Did you get her number along with her name?" This was asked of Langston, and Gavin tried to smile for his brother. Of course Lang knew an adorable wolf girl volunteering at Ballard House, and for a moment, he tried to focus on the little things, the normal things. He knew his brother, and he didn't want Lang to break. After all, that was what led them into this situation in the first place. Gavin would never blame Langston, especially not when he could feel the same anxiety Langston did. All he could do was draw a few deep breaths, and let them go, as if it would help.
Knowing Brodie was here, though, that was helping. That he'd stayed, even when he shouldn't. He just didn't want Brodie to end up regretting that decision. "I've got worries," he admitted, softly, rubbing at his eyes with one hand. "But I guess it'll be over soon enough, right?"
