WEATHER: Overcast and gloomy, though temperatures are supposed to be rising over the next few days.
EVENTS: The full moon is tonight, and the crowd gathered outside the school is particularly emotional today. Word is that the authorities are trying to determine whether or not there are any bitten weres inside the school, but unfortunately that information is simply impossible to get without a family member stepping forward. Unsurprisingly, the registered were debate is heavy in the news. Pressure is being put on lawmakers to pass a law that would require all weres to register with the government. It's not the first time this idea has been put forward, either. All in all, tonight's full moon in Scarlet Oak is a very somber experience. Of course the authorities are still offering aid to any bitten were that needs a place to lock up for the night, and there's always Ballard House to turn to for help if needed.
Inside the school, two groups are advancing today.
First to advance are those in They're coming... When last we saw them, Bunny had split from the house to go scouting while the rest of the group began boarding up the house. Bunny returned after an hour, reporting that the house was surrounded on all sides and that, indeed, the zombies seemed very real. It's estimated that they probably have until about dawn before the zombies reach the house. There's nothing for the group to do but finish their fortifications and make sure they hold. Tempers are running high in the group though, and leaving these five individuals trapped with each other might be a test in itself.
How about Hush, you ask? The four had been overcome by a sense of danger and the need to hide, and had promptly dropped down to hide in the bushes. Something very strange happened then, though it's certainly not any stranger than finding themselves in that soundless, colorless place. Once the four hit the bushes, they would have been overwhelmed by the need to sleep. When they wake again, they will find that Hiro has vanished. The only good thing to be said about this is that there's no sign of a struggle. It could be possible he just woke up first and wandered off.
Everything else is the same. They need to make their way to the men in robes, and will soon find that there are dead people everywhere in the town. Periodically, they will again be overwhelmed by the need to hide. When the feeling passes and they leave their hiding places, they will see puddles that are definitely not water around them.
