Waking up in the same bed as Nysa was not a new thing for Emilia; if she sat down and took a count then it had happened over double the amount of times that she had been in a bed with her husband. That should say things. It should probably also say things that she did not have a worry in the world as she tugged on a shirt she had borrowed from Arwen. The original intent had been to wear it to bed, but after taking her dress off it had seemed like too much of a hassle to pull something else on. Nysa had not minded the way she was dressed anymore than she had seemed to mind the kiss a tipsy Emilia had given her before they went to sleep. No, nothing had been wrong with last night and Emilia's mind felt blissfully light as she leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to the still-sleeping Nysa's forehead, running her fingers through her hair to untangle it as she made her way out the door and down towards where she could hear the clear sound of chatter. Maybe I should have asked for a pair of pants too... Instead she picked up a blanket draped over the couch and wrapped it around her shoulders as she stepped out just a moment behind Desi.
"That's because you tried to drink us all under the table," Emilia declared with a smile as she moved to perch on the end of the lounge that Gia had claimed. Her smile turned apologetic as she hugged the leg of the redhead. "I'm sorry that I fell on you last night, Aunt Gia, I really didn't mean to. Lost my balance. I hope you're not hurt this morning." Last night she doubted any of them would have noticed, they had been having too much fun. But she knew that if Gia had been hurt then she would have known about it by now; her mother would have seen to it. She had always been very firm about what was too much with Gia and Emilia had accidentally crossed the line last night. "Did I hear something about eating a second ago? Because I wouldn't object to something that isn't cereal or a granola bar." Eaten with one hand while she was getting the kids together or unable to appreciate the flavor. "If everyone's stomachs aren't too... delicate for food." That was said with a smirk towards Desi that also drifted to touch her mother and Gia.
