There was something to be said about not drinking very often, and then going all out in one night: Don't do it. Do not do it if you're ever planning on getting drunk again. Desi hadn't had a lot to drink, by normal standards, but still she had gotten quite drunk and was now feeling every single one of the effects. Awakened by an unignorable feeling that everything was wrong, when she checked the time she sighed. It was too damn early, and she was only awake because her body felt wrong. As soon as she was able Desi ran to the bathroom, managing to splash her face with cold water and taking a few breaths before the headache was felt in full force. Then, her stomach felt funny.
Anyone else would admit defeat and go back to bed, but very few people were master white witches who could work healing spells. Desi was one of those few. Sitting on the floor of Arwen's bathroom she took a few breaths and went to work, healing her stomach first, and later her head. It was pretty exhausting and took her almost an hour, sure, but by then she was at no risk of vomiting and her head was thumping a lot less. She would call it a win.
Without bothering to put on shoes or wear a robe Desi made her way to the kitchen in search of water. The closest she got the louder she heard the voices, and Desi figured Arwen must be up along with one or two of the others. Desi walked into the kitchen just in time to hear her sister's supposition. "Wroooong." She admonished. "I did make it to one, thankfully one close to a bathroom." Desi announced, grabbing a seat before smiling at each and every one of the ladies present. "Good morning! I'm exhausted."
