Gia nodded in agreement as Arwen spoke, though truthfully she wasn't quite hearing all of it. Oh it filtered into her head and left an impression, but she was imagining what medium would be best to represent the river and it was a little distracting. Everyone who knew her tended to be used to these little moments though. "I like falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest. Though I don't know that they're the actual sounds of the rainforest since I've never been there. It's only just the recordings that they offer... for all I know it's the sounds of the mountains." Gia smile, bemused with her own train of thought. "But then if you started wondering about that you'd have to ask if you knew what anything sounded like if you hadn't been there yourself and that's just tiring." Especially with a headache. Desi needed to wake up so that Gia could ask if there was anything she could do to take care of it. Her own personal hangover cure was tucked into a cupboard in her loft, likely covered with dust it'd been so long since she needed it.
"Oh, late enough, dear. Later than I'm used to being without having been absorbed into this or that project or having the moon full." Speaking of, that was happening soon. She didn't have to keep a calendar to know that, her body knew and reminded her. She always looked forward to it now that she was actually a butterfly. Her smile was suddenly amused. "We played a game of Twister and one of your sisters fell on me." And when Gia said 'sisters' she subconsciously included Nysa in the statement. She'd been around for as long as Emilia had been alive so she practically was one of them. All issues notwithstanding. "Do you have another long shift today or are they giving you a bit of a break to breathe? It wouldn't do to run yourself ragged and worry your mother."
