There was no point in fighting being moved. Venus felt like jelly, so when Star repositioned her, she went as easily as a sleeping child. Part of that was the backlash of the spell disorienting her, the rest was just the shock of the situation. And the trying not to puke. "Venus tried to scry past the barrier into the school," Raphaela explained, still skirting the couch nervously. "This is what happened. There was some sort of backlash. She can't see right, and it's making her ill. The blindfold helps."
Venus listened to Star rattle on and tried her best to pick out the important bits, but then everything inside of her did a hard jolt and a sick drop. "They're not in the school anymore?!" she asked, jaw hanging open. Her eyes were wide, not that anyone had any way of knowing that. Creepy crawlies? Tunnels? "Where are they?! How do we get them back? Oh my God, you know where they are? Star, tell me everything. Every single thing. Slowly."
