“Eh,” Farren shrugged when Castel said he was not a fan of what the store had to offer. Not that she cared one way or another if someone was a Starbucks fan. When Noctis said that he was more than okay with a free muffin, she nodded and held up a finger to say that she’d be back in just a second. She nipped back into the shop and grabbed a pumpkin flavored muffin out of the case. No one was really paying her any mind, so she didn’t bother to tell them she’d be back on the floor soon or even that she would drop some money in the register for the snack. She just walked back outside and offered the muffin out to Castel. Hey, the bird might have been cool and all but he wasn’t hers to feed.
Obviously very pleased with the way the day had gone, Farren settled back against the building with an amused smirk playing at her lips. It wasn’t exactly often that she hit it off with someone she was meeting for the first time -- okay, so that never happened -- and she had to admit it was rather nice finding someone else who had a similar sense of humor. “I should probably get back to work,” she rolled her eyes. “But if you decide you ever want me to repay the favor and terrorize someone for you, I’ll be around.” This was about as far as her pleasantries and manners went; small talk was not something she was good at and she would spend the time staring rather than commenting on the weather or whatever sport was seasonally appropriate.
