They say, "You want a war? You've got a war," but who are you fighting for?
Who: Quentin and Madeleine
Where: Panorama
When: Afternoon
With all the drama around the high school, it wasn't like Quentin expected anyone to actually be at Panorama today, at least not in the gallery part, anyway. His studio space was upstairs, and once he was finished in the gallery, he had plans of spending the rest of the day in front of his canvas. Calista was working, and for once in his life, Willie had not followed him to the studio. Those moments of peace were to be treasured, as they were few and far between. Quentin had yet to accept the fact that, no, Willie wasn't going anywhere, and he was stuck with the seagull for the rest of his life. Maybe Willie would learn some tact at some point along the line, but at this rate, he doubted it.
For now, though, he finally had the chance to display some of his works in the gallery downstairs. Ross, the gallery's owner, kept a steady rotation of works from the artists here, painters and sculptors and even a rather impressive display of metalwork in the back. When he got to have a full showing of his own, that would be the icing on the cake. He'd even send his parents an invite, a giant "fuck you" of sorts to all the people who said he'd never make anything of himself. The hard part right now was choosing which pieces to display. There were a few landscapes, including a portrait of his parents' marina, and then a few of his more fantastic works. It was more about showing off, at the moment, then selling his works. He had enough commissions to last him to the end of the year, and besides, it wasn't like Quentin was in this for the money.
The door to the gallery opened, and he gave the woman a grin and a wave before hanging up one more piece. Perhaps they'd have some business today after all.
