"Psh, you don't regret it yet?" was Erin's initial answer, offered rather dismissively as she took another quick look around the scene. Now came the greater question, did she need Roxy as a distraction, or was Roxy's uniform enough to get Erin where she needed to go? The military uniforms were occasionally taking people to the barrier - Erin guessed those were the magic experts or whatever that had been flown in. So, maybe just being escorted by a uniform - any uniform - was enough. All Erin needed was a couple of seconds.
In the end, Erin decided they could always try it and reassess the situation if they were stopped. When all else failed, Erin knew Roxy could carry herself confidently. So Erin nodded her head in the direction of the barrier. "I want to touch that thing, see what happens. Walk me to it, pretend like we belong, hopefully we don't get stopped. If we do, let me do the talking. Sound good?"
