There will be no good night to turn and walk away Who: Fluffy and Langston Where: the outskirts of SOHS tent-city When: late evening, after this
Langston did not need much prompting to be distracted -- he was very nearly as bored as Fluffy was. His day had gone from bad to ball-sacks and he definitely wouldn't mind blowing some steam off, even if it was as simple as sharing some beers with a friend. Whom he happened to think was one of the hottest girls he was talking to currently. He was not one to tell Fluffy 'no,' simply for the fact that he thought that they were a lot alike. And if she was bored that meant that Langston had to fix that. She was probably a bit bummed out if she was anywhere near the school, which meant that Langston had stopped on his way over to grab a case of beer. They were probably going to need it! Parking was a bit of a problem, so Langston found a parking lot a few blocks away from the school and the rest of the vehicular and foot traffic. There were still a ton of people milling about, waiting on word. The were felt very lucky that he didn't know anyone on the inside of that damned school. It was just easier that way.
Hands full with the ice-cold case of beer, Langston walked the few blocks to where Fluffy said she was. Before his attack, he probably would have been winded from carrying something that far -- he was never the strongest of people -- but he had no problem with it, now. He even relished the light burn in his muscles as he walked, using it as an additional distraction from the kind of day he'd had. Scouting the area close to the tents, his eyebrows shot up pleasantly as he located Fluffy. He walked over, stepping around people and over other people who were sitting down on blankets until he reached hers. "Special delivery!" He flashed a grin, but it sobered almost immediately. "You doing okay there, Freckles?" He even held up the 'okay' sign, pressing his thumb and fore-finger together with the rest of his fingers up. He set the beer down and immediately tore into it to grab himself one as he flopped gracelessly onto the blanket next to Fluffy. Without so much as a thought, he snuck a kiss onto her cheek, smiling. "Now let's see if we can't think up some sort of game involving empty beer cans, and unsuspecting people walking about," he grinned, not necessarily serious about tossing aluminum cans at people. The idea was funny, though, and that's what he was going for. "Are you less bored now, huh huh, are ya?" Yes, he realized he was probably toying with the line between adorable and annoying, and he only just managed to care. "How're things?"
