"Not a telepath," Lauren said with a faint laugh. Not even really a supernatural creature at all. Just a person who'd spent a very long time learning one useful, interesting trick. "It's just part of the job. A lot of people come into tattoo shops with just a vague idea of what they want. Any tattoo artist worth the money helps make sure you get exactly what you want." She shrugged - common sense to her, but there were enough hacks out there clouding up the talent pool that she could see why people didn't always expect it. "It's going on your body forever, after all. Gotta make sure you love it."
She nodded at Keira's feedback. "I've got purple. I'd probably go with a dark purple; it might look black from a distance, but if you go too bright I think it'll take away from the elegance of it, a little." Because it was clear that's what a chick like this would probably want - easy enough to guess from the design she liked in the first place. Lauren knew how to spot money, and this woman had it. Lucky for her, Lauren wasn't the type to jack up her prices for people who looked rich. "Cost depends a lot on how big you want it," she said with a shrug. She eyed the design and factored in the edits she wanted to make to it. "I wouldn't go any smaller than two, two and a half inches, or you'll lose a lot of the detail. Say $80 for two to three inches and up from there depending on size."
