Right. Okay. They had strayed into territory far beyond Kajsa's typical comfort zone. Yeah, she'd been into all sorts of things at one point. Not too long ago, if she were to be honest with herself, but it all felt like it had been a lifetime ago instead of just a few months. Still, she had never considered herself a fetishist. Of course, she'd been to a strip club or two, even gotten up on the pole at the insistence of her companions but, again, that was something she couldn't see herself doing anymore and remembering that it had ever happened filled her with shame. She wasn't sure what she'd been trying to run away from at the time, but she certainly couldn't call up the desire to ever lose herself again. Maybe the accident did change her. And, then again, the last time she'd lost herself had resulted in her special situation and then this situation.
"Well, if you ever find yourself in a situation where you would...well, need to end our contract for a woman...or a man...or...any other," Kajsa paused as the tried to figure out what she was saying that she'd lost in an effort to be politically correct. "Please just inform me and don't have my mother find out." Her family was kind and lovely, but also incredibly vindictive. And she couldn't be bothered to have to diffuse situations that may arise over a fake break-up caused by her fake-boyfriend fake-cheating on her.
Unclasping her purse, Kajsa found an old receipt and a pen. Writing her number down, she handed the slip to Ryan as she dropped the pen back into her clutch. "Well, here's my number. If you're agreeable to the terms, I'll draw up a contract. I can drop off a copy here and you can get back to me with any changes in a reasonable time period. If you need to contact me for anything else, you can certainly do so. Once the contract has been signed and is in effect, we'll discuss favorites foods, allergies, and how you take your coffee." Taking a deep breath, Kajsa decided this conversation had gone well enough but she was suffocating and needed some time to process properly what she'd just gone and asked from a man. "I think I have to get back to my sister now. She's not handling our mother's abduction well."
