"If it helps, it'll probably be awkward for me, too," Kajsa admitted, not knowing anything about Ryan, really. Except for the fact that he apparently liked to cook in his underwear. And had a nosy cow-snake for a familiar. She shot him a look when he insulted her, something that actually took a second to sink in. She had to give him points for originality; didn't think she'd ever heard that particular one before. Blushing at Ryan's comment about his intentions, she made a strange noise and then looked away. It was really pathetic behavior for a woman who clearly knew what went on between men and women behind closed doors, but Kajsa had never really felt comfortable just talking about it. "Yes, well, Valterri is my brother. Younger, but protective all the same."
Looking everywhere but straight at Ryan as her face was still flushed, she continued. "I guess we have some unique names in our family. Father insisted on the Finnish nomenclature, I assume. And it probably reminded my mother of home."
Just as she'd composed herself, Kajsa's sensibilities were rocked again. She made a face when he'd suggested that he wouldn't tell his significant other that he'd made a deal like this with her, but her face cleared when he followed it up with the fact that he wasn't involved at the moment. "Well, I suppose if you're discreet, it won't be a problem. I mean, as long as you're not caught with your pants down at the grocery store in the middle of the day. Most of her family was typically at home at night. Dagmar, of course, was a little less predictable and Valterri occasionally stayed out late...and then there was Leif, but Kajsa couldn't be bothered to worry about him right about now. "I suppose a heads-up might be too much to ask, but I suppose that the money will be more than reasonable compensation for any...restrictions on your...um...need fulfillment."
