Seeing Willow wince at the question told Jane pretty much everything she needed to know. She didn't blame the witch - nor could she - but it was a disheartening thing to be told anyhow. "Well, yeah, I don't think anyone's questioning that it is most definitely magic at this point." She just wished she knew what kind and how to counter it. Jane hated to push or put pressure on an already seemingly exhausted witch, but she needed to try. "No allusions to what kind, though? Universe not being very specific?"
Crossing her arms, Jane smirked. "I highly doubt you get much of those in your line of work." It wasn't like the universe stopped for one single psychic-witch after all. She shook her head at Willow nonetheless. "I don't know about you but I definitely feel a drop in my powers' quality if I don't rest." Jane had never gotten a nosebleed but she assumed it was the prelude to some very bad times. "Or a drop in myself. In that it's me who drops." Sometimes she also failed at assembling words the way a person of her age and education ought to. Jane was transfixed by the panther until Willow mentioned the shoplifter, and then she looked in the direction the other witch had nodded to. She couldn't see much, but Jane could have sworn the kid was actually flailing. With a chuckle, Jane looked back at Willow. "Cheap and efficient shop security, though."
What Willow said next was very apparent to Jane at this point. "Well you just be careful. You can't help nobody if your ears are ringing and your nose is bleeding and Lord knows what else." She was about to add stuff about bladder control but stopped herself in time.
