It was a testament to how well Jane was taking this whole magic out in the open thing that she didn't even blink at the panther hanging around Willow. Instead, she wondered why she didn't have a familiar. Maybe she hadn't been steady long enough for one to find her - or maybe she just wasn't meant to have one. In any case the panther was beautiful and Jane had to admit to herself she was a little jealous of Willow for even having one. Who talked.
She had never heard Willow's full name, and the 'Butterfly' there in the middle made Jane widen her gaze. "That's unusual." Jane commented, with no hint of judgement. When Willow explained why she looked the way she did, Jane nodded in understanding, following Willow's hand as she motioned toward the shop. "Yeah I know. I was there a little while ago, everybody's pretty...hopeless." She almost murmured, lowering her head. Lifting it again, she looked at Willow hopefully. "You haven't managed to get anything?" She didn't look like she had; she'd look happier if so, Jane thought. "Suicidal? Nah." Jane reassured the blonde, smiling. "Just maybe about to faint."
The panther spoke directly in her head which threw Jane for a loop. Blinking she looked down at the animal, who was in the process of yawning at her while leaving the very clear message that she'd better not cause any trouble for Willow, which Jane had no intention to anyway. "Maybe you need a day off or two. I'm no psychic but I know any powers when used too much will wear you out something fierce."
