Odin couldn't sense any of Bella's inner turmoil when she came to sit with him, possibly because he was still looking down at the menu when she did. He appreciated how her knee brushed up against his when she turned, and that was being close enough, he supposed. Odin wouldn't want her to crumple her beautiful skirt either. The way she spoke about her academic pursuits put a smile on Odin's face; it seemed that she was taking things easy but being diligent and successful all the same, and Odin could only appreciate that. Only one of them needed to be so absorbed into studying that he forgot all about coming up for breath or the passing of time. "I agree with your father. Acquiring the most knowledge of your chosen field is always the best option." He smiled, sipping on his wine.
"And then what? Open your own place or work in someone else's?" He was curious as to what Bella would like to do in the future. "Do you have a more exotic project in mind?" Another sip, and Odin finally handed Bella the menu.
