It was Will, he was generally pretty easy going about everything. Right now, it was hard to keep his head up with everything going on around them, but he figured people were allowed to be snappy or upset or whatever. They had good reason to be. But he didn't see anyone else around her at the moment, so it didn't look like she was waiting on anyone, so he took the chance. Besides, he was usually pretty good about letting anything negative roll right off him, so the grave look she gave him barely even registered.
"Good, that's good." He paused, trying to think of the right answer to give her. "Yeah, I'm fine." Another pause. "Actually, no, I'm not, but it's not like it's something to worry about. I can handle it." More like he'd handle it with a bunch of alcohol when he got home, but that was neither here nor there. He still had to be the semi-responsible football coach, after all.
