Pleased that Isolde seemed to have at least understood him, Hiro nodded and then stepped back to look through the telescope. He had the same compulsion as the others to look through it, but a little more muted, perhaps because he recognized where they were. Or at least...what had caused this whole thing. Stepping up, he had to tiptoe to get his eye in the right spot. Huh. That convinced Hiro even more that this was some sort of game they had to play. It seemed simple enough. A long journey culminating in some sort of battle. It was pretty standard, actually, based on what he'd seen of human movies.
Moving away from the telescope, he let Issy have a turn while he looked curiously at what Valerie was trying to accomplish. Hm. He assumed the guy was trying to spell something out, but it appeared that verbal communication was not the only thing the spell was affecting. It seemed to be written communication as well. Pausing, he wondered if Issy had even really understood what he had been trying to enact. Sighing soundlessly, he figured she had probably gotten golden hippopotamus from it instead. The one time he was actually going to be able to play with other faeries, he was stuck with humans, in his human form, and essentially unable to communicate with everyone else. Bleh. These games sucked.
