Oh, that smile. It had been cause for many a pleasantly uncomfortable exchange growing up -- getting that excited over just one girl's smile was bound to cause wardrobe malfunctions. Troy couldn't say that much had changed since they were teenagers. Well, at least not for him. The very fact that Lux was alright with the idea of dating him and being with him was the most pleasant change he could ever ask for. He kept his eyes on her as he removed his clothes, making sure to smile just a little bit. "Oh, quite. I'm not so bad as a fire elemental, but I do prefer water to be warm if its next to my skin." He nodded at her direction, smiling back at her as she remarked on the coffee.
"God bless you. Power or no power, I'm sure it will be heavenly." Reaching over, Troy cupped her chin with his newly dried hand, pressing another kiss to Lux's mouth in thanks. "I'd love a cup, thank you. I'll be right back." Grabbing up his piled up wet clothes and boots, Troy trudged off to the bathroom to hang everything up. He took the time to remove the rest of his wet clothes and dry off fully, walking back out to the living room with the towel wrapped around his waist. Not waiting until she returned, he padded barefoot into the kitchen, stopping to watch Lux with a very soft smile on his lips. "You're the best, you know that, right?" For more than just the coffee, his tone indicated. At least he hoped it did.
