So we burst into colors
Who: Harper and Star
Where: Sherry's Bakery
When: Mid-afternoon
Storms did not bother Star. They were no different here than back in her own Realm and it was not like she was sugar, she was not going to melt. The lightning was not going to kill her - and if she did get struck by it then she would surely be able to find some magic to tap into and heal herself with and it would be a Wonderful story to tell since she had never been struck by lightning before and absolutely needed to know what it was like one of these days - nor was the rain or the wind or the lack of power... none of it. If she wanted light then she would spin up her own. Though now that she had started thinking about lightning she had more than half of a mind to go and see if she could find a high place to stand and see if she could get a bolt to hit her. Would it kill her on the spot? No, she had seen through the viewing surfaces and on the mortal's televisions that there were plenty of them who got hit by lightning and survived. They were not even air elementals! True, they were sometimes left worse for wear, but it was most definitely an experience that the majority of the population did not have and Star was always one who wanted to know what everything was like and if she was going to be here and there was a storm then she should make the-
That looks good. Stopping in the middle of the sidewalk, not minding that she was stood in a puddle with the water seeping in over the edges of the bright sandals she was wearing. The rest of her was already soaked as it was, even her hat. Thoughts of lightning went flitting out of her mind as quickly as they had came. Mostly. At some point with she had been thinking about them, Star had started to glamour little tiny lightning bolts flashing down around her head. Had there been many others out window shopping in this weather then they would have more than likely been avoiding or pointing at her - again common place behavior since her arrival - and she would have had no idea why. Her finger tapped against the glass of the darkened store front and she walked over to try the door. A few of the stores seemed to be closed, with notes scribbled saying something about power being out - again, this reliance on their technology instead of magic was getting them into trouble! - but this one did not seem to be experience that trouble.
The blonde fae opened the door and stepped in, bringing with her the little dancing bolts of not-really-lightning and clothes that were dripping real water. "Heeeeeeeellooooooooo," she called out, deliberately drawing her voice out into several different levels. It had been a few days since she had bothered any of her relatives on this plane and she was a little bored, so she would take her entertainment with the mortals where she could find it. "Anybody heeeeerrrreeeeee?"
