If you want to, I can save you Who: Tessa and Troy Where: The Red Dragon Dojo When: Early evening
In the wake of everything that had happened to her brother in the last few weeks, Tessa had found herself feeling kind of useless. It was hard, seeing Troy struggling to cope emotionally in the wake of the vampire attack. Oh sure, the bitch had a name, and a house that Tessa had rifled through, but she didn't deserve to be called by it. If Tessa had her way, Lida would have gone up in flames by now, and she still would if the fire elemental found the right opportunity. No one hurt her brother and got away with it.
For Tessa's entire life, Troy had been her rock, the stable one, the one who took care of her when times got rough. If Tessa was the stable one, something was wrong in the world. She had a hard enough time remembering to take care of herself, much less anyone else - and that was probably a good reason why all of her relationships never worked out, but that was besides the point. But for Troy, Tessa would do anything to see him smile and forget for a while. She didn't quite know how they'd accomplish that quite yet, but she wasn't leaving until she'd put in the old college try and then some.
She found Troy in the office of the dojo, and she barged right in, not bothering to knock. "Come on, you," she said, beckoning him to her with one finger. "You and me, we're overdue for a spar." The tone of her voice said she wasn't taking no for an answer, either. If working out some of their excess energy didn't work, then she had a bottle of Jack Daniel's in her bag that would finish the job. Really, Tessa was fine with either method.
