Venus thought nothing of August's hands-on approach to friendship. That was the sort of guy he was, the sort of friendship they had, and she more or less figured he was that way with all his female friends. He was the sort of person that was flirtatious by nature, and probably didn't even realize he was doing it all the time. Besides, he was essentially her brother-in-law. She sighed an over-dramatic sigh and surrendered one of her feet. "You Summers men," she said, shaking her head. "You need to be cloned and bottled."
She grabbed another handful of chips as she got comfortable, turning more towards August and letting her back lean against the arm-rest. "She did have pointed ears, you know," she said, smirking faintly. "She showed me. She looked kind of like us, too. My mom's side of the family, I mean. Very blond, very bright. Gorgeous, of course, a couple of generations aren't going to get rid of that."
