Grocery shopping was possibly one of the most mundane things in the world to do. Except for when Pugsley was with her. Although, truly, anything with Pugsley thrown into the mix couldn't be mundane or boring in the least. That was what Keelin was thinking as she followed her familiar down the aisles of the grocery store. His paws skittered along the linoleum, the pads of his feet sliding whenever he tried to stop or turn suddenly. Really, it was rather funny to see him try to correct a mistake mid-stride and Keelin found herself laughing and giggling as she put her groceries in her basket. About the time that she thought to tell him to stop being so rambunctious, he took a turn too sharply and slid around the corner, his eyes growing wider as he lost control. Pugsley slid around the shelf, his paws scraping at the floor in vain to try to make himself stop. He finally did come to a stop, though, when his rear end collided with someone's ankle. He tilted his head back until his ears had flopped over and he was looking up at a blonde woman, with his eyes as wide as saucers. 'Sorry,' he started and tried to move out of her way, but lost his balance and toppled over instead. Keelin peeked around the corner to check on him, assuming that he had just fallen over out of clumsiness and not because of the woman he had collided into. "Pugsley!" she scolded lightly before stepping fully around the shelf. "I am so sorry about that," she offered to the woman. "He gets a little excited when we're headed towards bacon." She tucked her hair behind her ear and her hand trailed down to straighten her shirt, tugging at it slightly. Sometimes, Pugsley brought her wonderful interactions with people -- like Reggie. And other times, he just embarrassed the ever-living life out of her, like now. |
