Books and covers and all the judgement to go along with it was one of the biggest pitfalls supernaturals really ought to know better than to fall into. That didn't mean they were all innocent of it, Teddy was just as bad as the next guy -- or girl -- and he couldn't deny it. He'd just lumped all vampires into one category after all, and that was kind of ignorant for someone who really did know better than to tar every member of one race with the same brush; they were all just as capable of evil and cruelty, it had little to do with race and much more to do with the individual at their core. So he conceded, admitting his fault, "Good point. I've heard stories about people like us going off the deep end and--" Teddy remembered where they were, the limited space between tables and therefore ears that might overhear. "Well, that way leads to general badness." Enough said.
With a shake of his head Teddy said, "A little over a week, give or take." If he thought about it he could come up with the exact date but at this point keeping things vague was probably for the best. "What about you? I'm guessing longer than that, if you've already had time to run into a third." He held up one hand with three fingers sticking up, not because she needed the visual aid, but simply because he needed something to do with his hands.
