Hearing the trotting down the hall and the stairs did not faze Jo in the least, because the chance of this being some intruder did not cross her mind at all. Instead she smiled, now certain she wasn't home alone and one of her siblings - probably one of the youngest ones - was home as well. Just as Lotti barged into the living room screeching Jo set her sandwich back on the coffee table, knowing full well what would follow. She barely had time to wrap her arms around her sister before Lotti was running off again. "Lottery Ticket!" She exclaimed, picking the sandwich right back up. Jo smiled at seeing her sister wolf down the sandwich - pun intended - as she herself swallowed down that last bite with some orange juice.
"Yeah, same here. I'll be hungry for dinner anyway." Jo shrugged. It wasn't as though she had appetite problems, and thankfully she had a fast metabolism to go with it. "Eh, busy. I had class until mid-afternoon and then I went to do some volunteering. Yours?"
