Yeah, put a real gun in Teddy's hand and he wasn't going to hit much, at least not as well as he could here and now when the damage wasn't real and if you didn't like the way things were going then you could just shut off your console and go do something else instead. Maya and Ash had been giving him lessons with firearms since he'd joined Omega but he'd never really taken it, the same way some people never took to sports or art. Teddy was much more comfortable with a keyboard at his fingertips and a monitor in front of him. Give him anything technological and he was in his element, as comfortable and confident as any one person could be, but weapons? No thank you. He just wasn't built for all that, and he seriously doubted he would ever be suited for it.
"And I would wipe the floor with you if I wasn't holding back," he said to his companion with laughter in his voice as he briefly switched his focus to Ice's side of the screen to where he was respawning. The statement was harmless enough, he wasn't implying that he was actually much better at this than he was letting on, everything happening on the screen was accurate to his normal skill level, but there was so much Teddy could do with his abilities and he'd discovered a while back that they applied to video games. That would be cheating though and he wasn't going to do that to Ice. Not this time anyway. "We could always team up and shoot strangers instead, remember," he pointed out, for the time being ignoring his own soda and the snacks they had -- unless Rafiki had finished them off, and it wouldn't have been the first time -- so he didn't get himself shot in the face while he was distracted. "That way I can sneak up on them and you won't freak me out with your sudden mad sniper skills." And they would stop cursing and yelling at each other. Not that that wasn't fun, because sometimes it really was.
