Firearms... firearms... no, Star did not think that she ever wanted to touch one of those. And why would she need one? There would always be magic within reach so she would not need to worry about defending herself with one. That and she could fly. Flying really helped when the majority of the other races on this plane could not. "No firearms for me," she declared. "I don't think I'd like the noise." That was a very good reason in her mind. "And... I don't. Of course I don't. I just use the magic." Like it was the simplest thing in the world. And for her it was. Weaving spells out of the magic that just existed in the world was like breathing for her. She had been doing it for as long as she could remember and even the idea of needing to use ingredients or words or concentrating on a formula of some sort instead of the magic itself was so alien to her... "I do want to see you do your magic, and I'll apologize now if I spin it into something else, but the magic isn't quite as abundant here as at home so..." A shrug of her shoulders. "One works with what one has and I need to ward or else all the iron you lot use in your world will have me dead." It was insane the amount of the stuff that they used. Lack of magic and overabundance of a metal that could make people sick...
"Oh, right, I don't quite get that." The texting. The glowsticks had been mostly dismissed in favor of crouching down so that she was on eye-level with Haze. Large cats had amazing eyes. If it would not have drawn too much attention that Star was fully aware she did not need then she might have glamoured herself eyes to match the panther's. At the very least it would have been fun to look at her reflection. "But yeah, psychic. Reader and a Finder. Well, you are, I'm just a Reader. It's fun when you get bored." Because of course that would be how Star related to something. "I don't think it's called Neverland, either. Though it could be." She tipped her head to the side, one pointed ear slipping out from under her beanie and poking up through her hair. "We can never grow old if we don't want to grow old and we never have to do so many of the things that you do... I like Neverland, I'll call it Neverland from now on." Star went from being crouched to up on her toes in an instant, her smile still as wide as ever. "So! Your sister pretty much made me prove that I am what I am. I mean, I think it made her a little queasy and it wasn't even that great. Just a little snow. Inside. Not real snow." Star looked back down at Haze. "It'd take more magic then you've got in here for me to make it snow. Probably a water elemental too. Do you know a water elemental? I'd really like to meet one of those sometime." Star brushed her hair back and glanced around briefly before her attention went back to Willow. "Yes, no, maybe? Yes? You want to say yes."
