Oh, Lotti had heard that tone before -- that was the tone that most others who were more dominate used when she did something that they thought was wrong or reckless. It was for her own good and they were just trying to protect her, just like Julian was right in this moment, but Lotti didn't feel like she was in danger. If anything, she figured the other wolf was more scared of them then he had any right to be. Still, she took a step back and towards Julian, just so he'd feel better -- she didn't want him to worry much more than he probably already was. She flashed him a sheepish sort of smile before she turned back to the other wolf. The other wolf who was exhibiting signs that made Lotti tilt her head to the side in perplexed curiosity. He had almost no dominance to speak of, and it was always so strange for Lotti to see that. Sure, they had an Omega or two in their pack but...they weren't nearly quite like this. The way he'd reacted when she'd rushed up to him had been a dead giveaway, and the way that he refused to meet her gaze sealed it. Lotti immediately felt a rush of sympathy for the man. "It's nice to meet you, Sam! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." Lotti took a step or two to the side and bent her knees a little bit until she put her face right into Sam's line of sight, waving and giving him a friendly smile. Not too wide of a smile, though, or else he'd think that she was doing her human version of teeth-baring. What? Lotti wasn't about power-plays or vying for dominance, so she had no problems in being as friendly as she wanted. It was a little strange, she knew that, but if she was in trouble -- real trouble -- she knew better than to stay in it. But so far, she hadn't gotten that feeling, at all.
Still, the little movement brought her closer towards Julian, and she glanced over at him, shrugging subtly with one shoulder. "I can't speak for Uncle Jules, but I'm not gonna hurt you, you don't have to be so scared." Because Lotti was very direct with most everything, and wolf behavior was no exception. "If you just got here, welcome! Just passing through?" If nothing else, Lotti wanted to be helpful, and this wolf looked like he was lost. She could tell he was working hard at not appearing threatening, but it was a wasted effort in her opinion. Even though he was much taller than she was, she didn't feel the least bit of intimidation from him, and that almost made her sad. "If you need any help finding things around here, I can help!" She even lifted up and bounced slightly on the balls of her feet, smiling.
