Okay, that look? That look. That look was just... wrong. It made Bella feel... things. Stirring things. Things she was entirely unprepared to deal with, particularly this early in the date. It didn't help that what he had said had painted a rather nice picture. Bella was a daydreamer, it was far too easy to envision her own little scenario. She could imagine cuddling up by the fire, soaking up each other's warmth... suddenly it felt very warm to Bella. Then she realized he was feeling... something very similar to whatever it was she was going through. Suddenly her throat felt very dry, and she felt a fluttering sensation in her stomach when he smiled at her.
"Oh, yes," she answered, perhaps a touch too enthusiastically. She was feeling rather flushed. "I knew I wanted to be a wife and mommy long before I had anything else figured out." And she'd had her life figured out pretty darn early. She'd had her adult life planned out in neat little lists before she was even in high school. But she worried that that was the sort of thing you really weren't supposed to talk about on a first date. It seemed like the sort of thing that would scare a guy off. "What about you?"
