She'd already offered. Venus grabbed her mug off of the coffee table and headed into the kitchen, with Raphaela following not far behind. She refilled her mug and then one for Star. "If you've never had it before you're probably not going to like it black like this," she warned. "There's sugar and creamer on the table." And then she sat down. She needed to be sitting down for this.
The idea that she had been watched without ever knowing it was a little unsettling to Venus. Okay, more than a little. Privacy was important to her, but she got the idea that this woman wouldn't have understood that at all.
