While Venus and Raphaela were having their moments of doubt or vague freaking out, Star was just beaming and happy as could be. She had finally gotten to come to the mortal realm and now she had hugged Venus! This was going to be a three-way tie for her top moment of all time; shared only by the ones that she got when she got to Willow and Allegra. Because of course she was going to hug them too. It would be completely unfair if she hugged Venus and not them and they might get offended or think that she liked them less and that, that was just as far from true as a lie could get.
Except for that bit where Venus looked all confused and Star had a sudden realization. She had not even started to think about what she was going to say or how she was going to explain anything. Huh. Don't they say that honesty is the best policy? "Right, yeah, okay, that." Star tugged at her beanie and then at her hair, hardly noticing the little blue lines she was still leaving behind with her right hand. "But I did just tell you who I am, Star." She rolled her eyes. "Really it's Crescentia, but I told them to stop calling me that years ago. So it's just Star. As for who I am and how I know you, well, those go together." The fae scratched behind her ear and shrugged her shoulders. "You know how Allegra is fae-blooded? Well I mean, that comes from somewhere. In her case any number of generations down the road it started at my brother. I never got to meet him, I wasn't even born three decades ago so I'm just a kid." Now she noticed that she was trailing glamours and turned her hand over, pulling the blue together to make a glimmering star that sat an inch or so above her palm. "I know you because mom and dad were always busy and they taught me how to look over here so I stopped doing things like turning the house a different color whenever I got bored."
