"I meant it in the best of ways," Kenna assured him, grinning widely. 'Freak' wasn't necessarily an insult in her vocabulary. It was a word that encompassed a lot of different things and practices - and a lot of them were pretty damn fun. She was pretty sure she was on her way to being an expert in freak-dom. She was okay with this.
But then Treat started climbing up on his soap box, and Kenna couldn't help but roll her eyes again. Morals and principles, jeezy petes. What next? "There is so much I need to teach you, Treat," she said, sighing heavily. "I got here just in time." She was pretty sure she had just established where the line was. Or at least, a line. Question was, how much did she want to toe it tonight? She had ideas, of course, but Treat would certainly not appreciate them. Even if she was only doing him a favor in the long run. Like maybe knocking on Tanith's door and running like hell. Baby steps, she eventually decided. He's obviously not ready for this yet. "Fine," she sighed, shrugging heavily. "I'm only trying to help, you know. No need to get your panties in a wad."
