There really wasn't much to sift through in Tanith's mind, to be honest. Most of it was bad. Treat was at serious risk of becoming a dream glutton off of her dreams. It was difficult to just let some of it go, knowing full well they could turn back into nightmares that could plague Tanith's mind. And he did care whether or not she had a decent night's sleep. There was little he could give her...and even less that she would take willingly. This was the smallest gift he could use to thank her for saving his life. Even if the methods were far from preferable. She had tried. And if Eztli were to be believed, she had thought of trying other options but had been left with no choice.
Things were progressing fine until a familiar female voice broke into his concentration. "I'm eating, Kenna," Treat said in his best warning voice. Which was probably just funny to the girl. Damn water elementals. Damn teenagers. "Go back to bed." He didn't want to know what she meant by 'interesting,' especially after he'd given her practically no indication of who the hell Tanith was. And he had no plans on enlightening her on the topic either.
