The spark of magic Muse had commanded had zoomed off slightly faster than Muse had anticipated. She'd hurried after it, slowing once she could actually see the road. Then she had chosen a direction and was simply walking alongside of it. Once, a car had passed her, and a minute or so ago she'd heard something slow behind her, but Muse wasn't troubling herself with it. She was feeling out the magic of these woods - of which there was unfortunately only a precious little nearby. Perhaps someone had died in the woods in recent months, but not so recently to still be giving off a lot of energy. Muse was, well, musing over this when she heard the voice.
She turned to see if this woman was in fact addressing her, then looked down at her own clothing. Then back to the girl with the dark eyes. No, not dark. Black. All-over black. That meant something, didn't it? But what? Muse felt like this probably was important, but oh well. It was gone. "I'm wearing a sari," Muse answered, cheerful as could be. "I've just come from India. I didn't realize it would be so cold here already. Still, I quite like it." She'd picked up a lot of things in India, all of which were rattling around in her bag somewhere. She and several others in the troupe had sat down last week to marathon the Harry Potter movies. It was quite the fuss in this realm, and they'd wanted to understand it. And after, they'd all played a little game of trying to replicate the magic of Harry's world with their own glamours. Muse's contribution had been a variation of Hermione's beaded bag. The oversized dufflebag Muse had been carrying her earthly belongings in now looked like a simple sequined coinpurse. She was quite pleased with it, even if she'd had to leave the strap overly long. For some reason her glamours had fallen apart there, and if she kept it short looking at the bag had made some humans dizzy. Oh well.
"Can I ask about your eyes?" Muse's tone was still cheerful, though her curiosity was showing through. "Is that considered rude in these parts? I'm not trying to be rude. They're quite interesting, really."
