Did Reggie have pictures of his girls in adorable poses? Hell yes he did. There were no fewer than a dozen photo albums dedicated to them. And there were about three of them that had not seen the light of day in years because Morgan was in them. Reggie was not really... he had a bit of an avoidance thing when it came to Morgan. If he had his way then Keelin would never see those albums or even know her name unless she asked. "I have many pictures that you can see whenever you want. Especially of Tiger when he was a kitten because he was amazingly adorable." Sarah had been a really cute baby. It had taken Reggie and Crystal hours to go through and sort out all the pictures of Morgan to place in their own album so that Reggie could still flip through the album with Sarah without needing to leave. Maybe now he would be able to handle seeing her picture, but he doubted he would be able to handle seeing her holding a baby Sarah or Bess. "That will be a great picture outing." Sarah's Facebook would probably explode from all the pictures she would put up there.
At the offer of halving the last piece Reggie just nodded, suspecting that if he argued Keelin would argue right back. Instead he just took the other half of the last bite and gave a few chews before swallowing. When he was a kid he had listened to his mother's rule that he chew so many times before swallowing, but these days he tended to just give however many he thought the best before swallowing it on down. "The cake was a good choice for dessert," he complimented as he leaned back in his chair, setting his fork down and reaching out to accept the check. He had no idea of whether or not Keelin would have gone with it, but his mind did tell him that he was the one who should be paying here. This place had been his idea and all so he was going with that as the reason why he was paying. "So I was thinking that when she brings me back my slip we could spend a bit of time walking around? I don't know about you, but I'm not ready to go home yet." A walk seemed like a pretty good idea to him. Another option may have been stopping off at a bar, but he was not really familiar with many in the area and he had a slight thing for not enjoying the music that tended to play in most. I'm getting old.
