At first, Rina felt herself shrink on the inside at the touch against her wings, but she made sure to not give any outward reaction. Daisy was not in a good place right then and Rina would not do anything to make it worse. When Daisy pulled back she saw the reason and bit her lip, furling her wings in at the same time. Daisy may know that she had wings, but the last thing she wanted was for anyone walking by to just see. What the angel wanted to do was reach out and take Daisy's hand, to heal that burn she could see there clear as day, but that want was placed on hold when Daisy took Trouble from her. Rina winced only slightly at the feeling of twenty tiny claws being pulled out of her skin. 'It was worse than the dryer,' Trouble shared, tiny body shivering as she accepted the soothing pets, her claws eventually retracting again. 'I was just sitting there enjoying my T.V. and the next thing I knew we were flying! I didn't know she could move so fast!'
"Only when I'm called," Rina informed her familiar as she settled on her heels in front of Daisy, not once looking away. She knew that she was not there simply for company. Rina had been doing this work for long enough to know that when she was needed there was an actual reason behind it, not something superficial. 'We can watch it here,' Trouble agreed, kneading her paws against Daisy's leg with a purr when she scratched behind her ears. 'But Rina doesn't pretend like that.' The small cat had been around the angel and seen inside her mind enough to know that she would never turn away from something like this. 'But if you want to watch T.V...'
Rina sighed and reached out to take Daisy's injured hand in her own, pulling it down as she thought of the spell she was going to need. "I am going to heal this," she informed the other woman. "But no, I cannot pretend like that." Her smile was a little sad when she looked up at Daisy. "Have you forgotten I am an empath? Your patron angel and an empath... I cannot simply pretend that everything is alright when every emotion coming off of you screams otherwise." Rina knew first-hand how dangerous it was to keep these things bottled up inside and she would never stand idly by and allow one of those under her care to put themselves through that. With an amplifier in the room there was no chance that Rina could have ignored the emotions rolling off Daisy and into her. There was a burning behind her eyes and she knew that her eyes had filled with tears to match the other blonde's. "I won't judge you, Daisy, that's not what I'm here for. Whatever is wrong you can tell me." It cannot be worse than anything I've already seen.
