"Yeah, I didn't realize how far along she was. We get back to New York and one morning I wake up to kittens behind the sofa in my best friend's apartment. I thought Marie was going to have a heart attack." She laughed and reached for her coffee, taking a long sip. His familiar was talking and she had to resist the urge to laugh at him as he flapped his wings. "Hi, Willie." The two of them were as bad as brothers. It was kind of funny. The comment about her bring smokin' hot made Lia forget her earlier attempts to keep from laughing. She giggled and rolled her eyes.
"Well, he's certainly interesting. Guess you can understand how this one can be at some points in the day." Most points of the day, but Lia was trying to be nice. Nix had other ideas.
Hey! I am cute and fluffy and everyone freaking loves me! I'm not nearly as annoying as a bouncing bird. Trust the kitten to act tough when she was closer to Lia than to Willie.
Lia rolled her eyes and turned back to what Quentin was talking about. "Wow. An elemental. We have something in common." She sipped at her coffee. "That must have been a bit of a shock with everything else."
Are we forgetting that I'm cute and adorable and you promised me a donut?
She took a deep breath. "You said we could ignore them right? Cause I did not promise her sugar in any way, shape or form. There is no way I would give this little fur ball anything that would make her more hyper."
