All, all the king's horses and all of his men Who: Isaiah and Winifred When: evening, around 6:30pm Where: Winifred's apartment
When she looked back on the past couple of days and weeks, there was absolutely no way that Winifred felt she could have gotten through it without Isaiah. Not only had he come to her rescue at the Broadway bridge, but he'd let her stay with his family for as long as she was feeling too concussed to function on her own. That coupled with an almost daily visit with Isaiah's mother Adrie, who was a master white witch, and Winifred was feeling much better. Her thoughts still shifted at times, but her ankle was completely healed and her arm was only in an ace bandage for support. All in all, it was a dramatic transformation from the mess she knew she had been not too long ago. Thank goodness for white magic, she thought as she dropped a plate into the sink from dinner. Isaiah had come over to help her cook and they'd made lasagna. It was ten times better than the things that Winifred usually made herself, and it was also special since they'd made it together. Drying her hands off on a kitchen towel, Winifred practically skipped into the living room to take a seat on the couch by the were-falcon. "A girl could definitely get used to food that delicious." She moved in to tuck her head onto his shoulder, her hand finding his and squeezing. She sighed and nuzzled her face against him, looking up into his face with a smile on her lips. "I think I sort of love this whole cookin' from scratch thing. So much more satisfying than what I had been doing." No, she wasn't going to mention the death-box.
Pulling away just enough so that she could see his face properly, Winifred tilted her head to the side. "What do you want to do now?" The witch was just happy to be with Isaiah at all. Tonight was their date-night-in, and really, the best part about that was already happening. Her apartment was a little more furnished now, and they could watch movies, but she wanted to see what Sai wanted to do. There were plenty of blankets to cuddle under, too. They didn't have to watch anything at all, either. She was just happy to spend time with him, whatever they did.
