At first, Freddie could only blink. Then, with a smile that was nothing more than incredulous, she started to process what Rhys had said, and stood silent for a little while. It didn't feel as bad as having her mother blaming her for family destruction, but it felt pretty bad all the same. Extremely bad, who was she kidding?
"So how much of this only happened because you went past my defenses like that?" She couldn't help but wonder. Wonder how much of this was real, or even how much of this would happen if Rhys hadn't known about it beforehand. "How could you not have known, Rhys? It was all I could think about whenever you were around." She accused, shaking her head.
It wasn't even about lack of privacy, yet, although Freddie was very slowly starting to feel ashamed.
