Satu didn't believe in charity or fundraisers that helped people who couldn't help themselves. Why? People jut needed to look at her father. True, Jokull had donated to some things and her mother did to far more and it was her mother that Satu adored, but Linnea was a lot more sentimental than Satu. That and Satu just didn't believe in what she was currently doing. Maybe it'd be different if she cared. No I don't think so. Sighing, Satu leaned back in her chair and kicked at the leg of the table. Yeah so she was getting out of the first half of her first class for this, that didn't mean she had to like it and she didn't. All she did was want to not be there with her little containers of cookies, muffins and even a tray of brownies that she and Silvia had managed to turn out without burning the previous day. Half of them were supposed to be cursed, but Satu didn't know if the spell had worked and even if it had she wouldn't know right away.
All that she knew was that none of them tasted like blood because she had checked herself. But she bet it'd give any angelic-blooded being a hell of a kick. Snickering at the thought, Satu was rearranging the baked goods when someone she didn't really know walked up. There was a vague sort of familiarness that stemmed from having seen him somewhere with someone -- store? With Dagmar? Kajsa? Valterri? Didn't matter -- but nothing more and Satu just pulled on the pretty smile that always made her mom so happy and sat up a little straighter. "Well those are chocolate chip, there's some banana nut muffins and some chocolate cupcakes... uhhh, a few other things that other kids tossed in like those no-bake cookies-" How lazy was that? "-and then some cheesecake brownies that are pretty good." The smile turned back up to the unknown guy, no real feeling behind it. "Benefiting the local Red Cross. Y'know, for the disaster." She deftly pulled back the saran wrap on the brownies. "Come on, you know you want one."
