Trouble was a little confused by the snail. She had not gotten to meet very many familiars - mostly birds, with the notable exception of Bubbler the lobster who was a lot slimier than she had thought he would be. Trouble still wanted to take a ride on him under the water. She had gotten to go flying with that one bird! Celeste? Yes, it had been Celeste who had taken her flying around. Trouble thought that if she could get rides from familiars who were bigger than her that it only made sense that she should offer a ride to the one smaller than her. And he could look like a hat! How many cats got to prance about with a live snail for a hat? Not many, Trouble was sure of that and she wanted to be one. 'I could take you running all over the place. It'd be a lot of fun.'
Rina decided to let Trouble work that out for herself. The angel may only have known the cat for as long as she had been on earth, but she had managed to figure out that her opinion only mattered so much and if the cat wanted to do something then she was going to do it. Be that prancing across her birthday cake or perching on other angel's shoulders while trying to convince their familiar to play at being her hat. "They are," Rina agreed with a soft smile. "I just think cats have a very different set than we do." And who did she mean by 'we'? Angels? Human-shaped things? Was she including the snail who seemed to have ideas along the same line? Rina was not sure. She was sure, however, that Natalisa was not at all bothered by the current situation. Not even the part where she had Trouble on her shoulder. But Rina... her smile flickered and something in her eyes went a little dark when she heard 'guardian'. Trouble immediately tensed and gave out a meow, but she stayed where she was when Rina insisted it be so. All because of what Natalisa was. Neil and father. Guardians had such a hard lot in life from what Rina had seen and her heart ached for Natalisa even without knowing another thing about her. "I've known guardians before... I'm just a patron." There, she managed to get her half-smile back as she tried to banish unwanted thoughts. Not every Guardian lost their charges, Natalisa had hers. "I've got Ferngully. And this Oliver and Company... cartoon. Trouble wanted it. I think for the cats." Rina shrugged slightly. "There are many things I'm supposed to watch, but I keep forgetting the names of them. I'd ask Darklis, but I don't have a phone and if I did I don't remember the number." She hardly believed phones still worked in the same way as they used to, not with all those gadgets attached to them. "At least your charge is probably younger than you; my cousin's older and still more caught up with modern everything."
