All the way around you Who: Natalisa and Rina Where: Video section of the store When: Morning
It seemed to Rina that every time she left the house she came across either another angel or, more often than not, another person who fell under her protection. There were truly far too many of them in this place and she wished that there were not. The world surely would have been a happier place if there were not so many who found themselves unbalanced. Not that Rina would ever, ever, blame them. It was not their fault that they were this way. Most of them had been born that way and if they had not been then circumstances had made it happen to them. No one chose to be that way. That was why Rina did not choose to keep herself closed up in the house all day every day. If she did that then she may as well have stayed in Celestia. But she had come back, determined that she was going to stay and that was what was going to happen. It had taken surviving a concentration camp to send her back last time and it would take something very close to that for her to leave again. She just had to make sure to stay out of the way whenever she thought that she was going to panic. It would not do for an angel to completely and totally break down in public when she was more than likely needed to help someone else. Their needs came above her own; something that she was certain every patron would agree with. Why else stay and help? Guardians would surely - oh no, no she could not allow herself to think about guardians. Then her thoughts would turn to Neil and that painting Darklis had made for her and why she had been able to make it -
Tiny claws dug into her shoulder. 'We made a deal,' Trouble reminded her from her perch on her shoulder. The store staff had given her some very odd looks when she had walked in with the small creature, but then Trouble had said hello and they had seemed at a bit of a loss for what to do after that. It seemed that familiars were not quite covered in all of the basic rules of conduct yet. Rina would be grateful for that for now, knowing as she did that if she was on her own for too long she might think of something she should not and having a breakdown in a place she hardly knew would not go over all that well. For anyone. People did not react well to hysterics, she had noticed. 'Which is why you're not going to have them!' Trouble seemed cheerful as her tiny nose twitched like wild while she looked around at all of the people. There were just so many scents for her to take in and she wanted, more than anything, to hop off of Rina's shoulder and go exploring. Only she doubted very much that that would be allowed. So she stayed where she was while Rina wandered and took in all of these things that the mortal races had come up with since she had last been there.
"Darklis said that there were many movies I need to say," Rina mused as she stopped in one of the many aisles dedicated to... DVDs. Yes, that was the current thing they used. Little discs that resembled those CDs, only apparently they held images instead of music. And she was standing in what she assumed must be the cartoon section since all the covers had colorful little creatures on them. She had just picked up one labeled 'Ferngully' when she felt the slight weight on her shoulder vanish. "Trouble!" The cry left her mouth before she had thought it through and by the time she had turned she saw her familiar perching herself on the foot of another blonde - 'hey, hey Rina! I found another angel!' "Yes... I see that, b-b-but you really shouldn't just jump like that." The DVD still held in one hand she finally looked up from the foot and at the other angel with an apologetic smile on her face. "T-Trouble gets eager. Especially when she finds a-another of us." The small cat lashed her even tinier tail and mewed, batting one paw against the woman's leg. 'Can I climb you? I want to say hi properly and your face is all the way up there!' It would seem that Rina and Trouble needed to have another 'proper conduct' talk.
