I am aware, I've been misled
Who: Emma and Cheyenne Where: Cheyenne's Office When: Morning What: Trying to register Alwyn for classes
She didn't think it would be hard to put a teenager into high school. It was one of the many things her father had not prepared her for. Life outside of hunting was a mystery and she was starting to worry about finding a job for herself. There weren't many things she was qualified for being that the use of a crossbow and a knife weren't really the skill set most people were looking for. But that was a matter for another day. Today was about her brother.
The receptionist in the office directed her to the guidance office and she walked through the halls feeling very much like she was in trouble. She looked down at the paper with a name scrawled on it. Cheyenne Winters. The last name was familiar and made the young woman wish her mother was still alive. It had been her maiden name. More than once, she considered adopting it as her own now that they were on the run. The problem was she was sure her father would expect something like that.
Shaking off the nostalgia, she knocked on the office door labeled for the woman she was looking for. Emma had no idea what she was supposed to do without the proper paperwork to show she was in charge of her brother. She was nervous, wondering if she should have planned for this. It wasn't like she could have possibly anticipated her brother would be bitten by a were.
