Good, Caelia was there and she was coming to help take care of Aurora. Diana would've made do if she hadn't had her eldest there, but she was so glad that she didn't have to. Aurora needed her magic and Diana cursed herself for not having any of her own to give. Oh she could wield the winds and call down lightning, outside was quickly turning into a testament of that, but she couldn't use her magic to heal these wounds that needed it. Diana wanted to urge Caelia to hurry, to pull the skin back together and make it whole before more blood leaked out, but she knew that would do no good. She should just be glad that Caelia was there to do this for them. And she was. Just as she was glad that Cheila was there to go and do what she told her needed to be done. Diana flashed her daughter a grateful smile before her eyes were pulled back to Aurora's face. They'd always been pale of skin, but Aurora looked sallow on top of that. She didn't think that she'd ever seen that look on any of her children's faces and it made her feel ill. She didn't ever want to see any of them looking like this again.
Diana released her hold on Aurora's hand so that she could kneel, one arm going out to wrap around Aetheria's shoulders. While she'd been caught up in her worry she hadn't stopped to think that perhaps Aetheria was worse off than any of them. Aurora was her twin after all and hadn't it been her that Diana had always told needed to make sure that no harm befell Aurora? Turning her head, she placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead before teary eyes went back to Aurora. Her heart gave a painful thump when Aurora apologized to her. "Sweetheart..." Diana reached out to touch the girl's cheek, knowing she wouldn't be able to see the reassuring smile she was trying to give her. Maybe it was better that Aurora couldn't see right then; looking around the room at the looks on the faces of the others she thought it a good thing that she couldn't see how very worried they all were. "You don't need to apologize, Aurora, you couldn't have meant for this to happen. I'm sorry that I wasn't there to take care of you." Again, again I wasn't there. Twice I've failed you and Aetheria both. For hadn't Aetheria been subjected to a demon as well? The girl had been disturbed by that even if she hadn't come back bleeding out like her twin. Diana could feel the guilt welling up and she couldn't tell just then who was responsible for the thunder, but she knew that it was because of her that the sky was starting to be lit up by bolts of lightning. Taking back the hand she'd released before, Diana pulled it up and kissed the back before she pressed her forehead to it. "It's alright, Aurora, it's not going to happen again. It's over now and you're safe. Nothing is going to hurt you again." Diana didn't know if she'd be able to let the girl out of her sight ever again. Right then it seemed impossible. "The wounds aren't too much for you, are they Caelia?"
