Walking into a toy store was like heaven to a person like Daisy. No matter how old she got, she always got excited when she walked in and saw the shelves stacked with different kinds of toys and play things. She was the kind of person that would walk down each and every aisle, playing with what toys she could pick up and pressing all the "press here" buttons she could find. Odds were often that she was either asked to leave or glared at until she made a purchase. There was a hop to Daisy's step when she entered the store today; that's right, a hop. She wasn't entirely sure what Rina had done to her leg, but it had been enough that she could take the cast off. Walking around put a strain on her leg and wearing heels caused an unnecessary ache, but Daisy had dealt with much worse. Just having the freedom to move around without being restricted by crutches was worth the shot of pain she felt when she moved. Daisy had no real reason to be out and about today, other than the fact that sitting around the house tended to make her stir crazy. She needed more things to occupy herself with so she didn't get bored so quickly and so she didn't have to keep leaving in order to find something to keep her attention. The wad of money folded up in the pocket of her shorts was enough to cover a system and a few games. Daisy had made her way halfway through the store when she reached the aisle full of toddler toys. Of course the first thing that flooded through her mind was not actual children, but of how much fun Bandit would have playing with the toys. To be honest, Daisy was more obsessed with the idea of how much fun she would have watching him. Now all she could think about was which toy (or toys) she should bring how to him. Daisy had picked up a cube that had different places to put shapes in. It was absolutely perfect, but she knew she wanted more to take home to him. Daisy turned to reinspect the toys she had already played with when the cube toy fell out of her hand and went sliding across the tiled floor. It stopped short of another customer who had just turned down the aisle. A bright smile stretched from ear to ear when she saw who it was. "Lida!" Daisy raced up to retrieve Bandit's toy, but not before giving the other woman a friendly hug. |
