"Damn straight." Persephone hadn't ever taught a kid a thing that she was aware of, but if she had then she'd have given them that one first and foremost. As Excess she believed that it was just expected and the right thing to do on top of it all. She'd have to go and give that lesson to Delta and Bianca. Oh wait, they didn't seem to need that. Delta practically thrived on it and Bianca was making her way from what she'd seen. Just too bad they hadn't gone down that road faster. They'd be more fun. "Fifth grade... good for you." Persephone didn't know what exactly fifth grade entailed since she hadn't gone through it, but she couldn't imagine it'd be much fun for her. "Try the cat first, and make sure its got all of it's claws or else half the fun is gone right there. I always wondered if you could shred an angel from the inside out." That'd be one way to find out. The family talk didn't really phase her, she just shrugged it off because she didn't care about where Briony was staying or for how long. She was sure the little girl could figure out how to take care of herself. "Ahhh, not right now, I don't have anything to put it in and a pocketful of blood just doesn't keep in this heat. Maybe if I find a container." Fear's blood could produce some interesting spells.
Oh. Oh. Persephone snapped her fingers together and grinned. "I've heard of that place. I was going to check it out this morning but decided not to. So what I heard was true and there's a fun little church in town. With a Dependence in charge, huh? Now that's just fascinating." Persephone wasn't sure how exactly she felt about going somewhere that a Dependence was playing. She didn't want to feel any sort of tuggings towards anyone even if it was another demon. "I'll have to go stop by after all." Even if she wasn't sure she'd like what she felt. He was just a demon and it'd be like being around Briony; she knew why it was happening. Actually it'd be better than those tingles of fear. She'd have to tip her hat to the guy who came up with the idea of playing at being a religious pastor when he was actually one of the things they painted with the ugly brush. "Yeah well, you're not at home so swear away. And that's just too bad, because you might need it if an angel decides being a kid doesn't matter." Persephone would decide the same if she came across an angel-child. "Magic's good, but they got theirs too. And what do you mean you've seen them before?" Even as she asked, Persephone was glancing around, crooking her fingers at a legionarie who'd finished its meal. "You, come over here." A shuffle of the feet. "Wasn't a question, do it or I'll drag you and then you'll really not like what I do next." A hiss, but the thing did as it was told and Persephone slung an arm around its shoulders, pulling a face at the smell. "What's really funny about angels is, the ones I've met, would rather go for the legionaries and it's because they look scarier and more threatening. I mean come on, between the three of us it'd be this one right here you'd want to be afraid of." The demon tried to move away and Persephone tightened her grip. "Not done with you, bub. Best way for little girls to not get killed by an angel is to just be all adorable and sweet-looking. It's like they have a soft spot." She grinned. "Then grab their face."
