It seemed that Persephone kept forgetting that Briony was still just a kid who didn't know everything about herself yet. "Okay, then now you know." She wasn't here to play 'teach the bratling her psychic powers' though. The demon was done with the topic of ghosts, had pushed it right out of her mind and everything, so whatever else was said just rolled off the outside of her mind. Her attention was more of the idea of these carnations that Briony seemed so set on. "Let's go with the big, black and able to eat your face off." Persephone would buy those flowers and decorate every piece of property she set her foot on with them. The recording studio, her home... she'd even get some and send them on over to Delta with some more for Bianca. Necromancers should have flowers that almost literally said 'fuck off' in their windowsills. Especially if one of them had been idiotic enough to go and live with some anti-supernatural girl who took herself off the moment she found out what her roommate was. "What, you never get scared even the littlest bit?" Persephone found that hard to believe even if the girl was the Demon of Fear. "Even fear's afraid of something... might just take you awhile to find it." Which Persephone suddenly wanted to do. If it wasn't supposed to be there then she wanted it found and exploited.
Control of electric stuff and she had wings that made Persephone think of a dead thing. "Huh, not bad for a kid." That flash of electricity was even better. "Alright, you might be worth the time of day. How much better can you do it?" Persephone spared no bit of attention for the legionarie that'd gotten itself zapped. It wasn't like it was dead and even if it was, who cared? It was a legionarie! Better than a human, sure, but that wasn't saying much. Kicking a dead body aside, Persephone frowned at the stain of blood it left on her shoe. God, dead bodies left the grossest things. "Think I heard something about that. But I didn't pay attention. Missing persons aren't my thing. I make them go missing." Local teenager last seen headed towards a bar, found next morning in a pool of his own vomit and blood after having consumed five bottles of Scotch. Those were the headlines that Persephone cared about even if they were missing the best part: murdered by Demon of Excess who didn't even have to touch him. "Then maybe you don't get a Eurynome for a pet." Persephone shifted to tap Briony's nose with a wicked grin, ignoring the chill that shot through her again. Damnit, she hated the idea of fear. "Maybe you can get yourself a Cresil or a Kobal. You'd like one of those, they could give you such a laugh." Personally, Persephone would take a Jezebeth and make it her own personal pet if she could find one. "Hmmm, holy tell, that's gotta be fun. Wanna see something really cool?" Persephone stopped and sat down behind a car that had fallen on its side and not been moved, reaching out to shove off the Eurynome that had been munching on what was left of a corpse back there. "Hey, there's bigger ones off that way, give me this space." Rolling her shoulders, Persephone let her wings come out, grinning when the Eurynome finally did as told and scurried off. "Flames and smoke, straight outta Hell. It is hilarious to flash them at a dying person and tell them they've got a one way ticket down." Another laugh; they just wished they'd be able to go to one of the levels of hell. Or maybe they did go and Persephone just hadn't paid good enough attention.
"You know how to spot an angel yet, Briony? Since they've come back to play it'll probably be good for you. I think there's at least two over on the bridge trying to be all noble." It wasn't that Persephone cared, she just... hadn't ever been around a demon-kid. And besides that, angels sucked and didn't deserve to touch any demon unless that touch involved a blade on the demon's side. "Think you'd terrify an angel, little Fear?"
